Organizations are turning to text mining in increasing numbers to tap into the wealth of feedback found in text—including call center notes, surveys, blogs and Web sites, RSS feeds, e-mails, and other types of documents. As content created by individuals becomes more trusted and more global, corporate and public sector organizations are analyzing it for opinions and sentiments that give them a more complete view of their customers and constituents.
Analyze all types of text from multiple languages
When you analyze the words people use to express their thoughts and feelings, you can draw more reliable conclusions about their future behavior and use that predictive insight to meet their needs more successfully.
PASW Modeler 13 is a significant new release that enables you to create and share text analysis packages (TAPs), which are categories and linguistic resources that control the extraction process. Three pre-built TAPs are included in the English version for customer, employee, and product satisfaction analysis—or you can also build your own TAPs. TAPs created in PASW Text Analytics can also be used in the latest version of SPSS Text Analysis for Surveys™, and vice versa.
PASW Modeler 13 is available for processing Dutch, English, French, German, Italian, Portuguese, or Spanish text, and it also supports Language Weaver™, a provider of software that automates human language translation. If you purchase a Language Weaver license, PASW Text Analytics' use of text link analysis (TLA) technology can help you quickly identify and extract sentiments, such as preferences and opinions, from text in more than 30 languages. PASW Modeler 13 also integrates with Japanese text in other products.
The result? You'll be able to build more accurate predictive models that will help maximize customer and constituent loyalty, satisfaction, and profitability both locally and globally.
Process textual data more efficiently
PASW Modeler 13 also includes new features designed to help you analyze data faster and more efficiently. Major enhancements include:
